What you Need
1 kg Potatoes
600 grams Flour
Flour for rolling out the dough
What to do
- Peel the potatoes and boil them soft (as if you were making mash)
- Remove the water and leave the potatoes to chill for about 20-30 min.
- Mash the potatoes and add the flour, about 100 grams at the time, until you get a nice dough.
- Use a rolling pin and roll the dough thin - the thinner the better. Use flour on the bench, so the dough doesn't stick
- Place a plate on the dough and cut around, so you get a nice round cake.
- Cook the cake in a pan on slow heat - don't use any oil/butter
- Enjoy with some sausage or other proteins. It also taste amazing with smoked salmon and sweet chilli sauce
